100kms for cancer
After being diagnosed with brain cancer in 2010, I have developed a deeper appreciation for the struggle that is felt during an after cancer treatment. From what I can understand, most of cancer recovery feels quite similar to the concept of dragging your feet through concrete with a smile on your face.I am so blessed to say that I can walk and run now. Throughout the month of June, I will be running/jogging 100 km. I am by no means a runner so I thought this would be a suitable challenge for me as I know that those affected by cancer push themselves on a regular basis by simply completing everyday tasks.
I have created this fundraising page and it would be sensational if you could donate to what I know is a good cause but I largeley want to acknowledge the fact that I am now able to run (where previously I couldn't) and that is something I should not take for granted.
My Updates
Another week of running down
