I'm fundraising to support rangatahi impacted by cancer. ❤️

Canteen provides free, evidence-based psychosocial support services that focus on the long-term emotional and social wellbeing of rangatahi. These services include counselling, peer events, therapeutic programmes, camps, leadership skills, development grants, and career guidance.

Why I'm Fundraising:

Fifteen years ago, when I started growing my dreadlocks, I always said that one day, when I finally shaved them off, I’d do it to raise money for Canteen.

That day has finally arrived.

They’re now nearly a metre long, and with shoulder surgery coming up, I won’t be able to tie them up anymore, so it feels like the perfect time to follow through on that plan.

Over the years they’ve become a big part of my identity so shaving them off is going to be a pretty huge change. If I’m going to say goodbye to them, it feels right to do it for a cause that makes a real difference.

If you’re able to donate, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every little bit helps, and I’m aiming to raise $1,000 for Canteen before the big shave.
