Working as an administrator, I have witnessed firsthand the many challenges that rangatahi quietly endure. Many are navigating grief, uncertainty, family hardships, and serious illnesses that no young person should have to face alone.
Supporting Canteen Aotearoa New Zealand has become deeply meaningful to me because behind every young person affected by cancer is a story of courage, resilience, and strength. There are moments that leave a lasting impact — seeing rangatahi strive to remain hopeful during difficult times and continue moving forward despite the challenges they face.
This is why Boss Baker was established — to use a passion for baking as a way to provide comfort, kindness, and support to young people in need. Every baked treat sold contributes to raising both funds and awareness for rangatahi affected by cancer, reminding them that they are not alone.
