I'm fundraising to support rangatahi impacted by cancer. ❤️

 

Each year, 4,200 rangatahi are impacted by cancer in Aotearoa. Thats why I'm fundraising for Canteen Aotearoa - the only national charity dedicated to supporting rangatahi aged 12-24 impacted by cancer, whether through their own diagnosis, cancer in their whānau, or grief and loss.

Canteen provides free, evidence-based psychosocial support services that focus on the long-term emotional and social wellbeing of rangatahi. These services include counselling, peer events, therapeutic programmes, camps, leadership skills, development grants, and career guidance. 

I am fundraising for this cause close to my heart, and I would be grateful for any donations you can make. Big or small, every dollar makes a big difference.

I need your help.

I'm paddling 420km in June to raise $420 for Canteen Aotearoa! Canteen is a charity that supports rangatahi (young people) impacted by cancer across Aotearoa. This cause is particularly close to my heart because my daughter, Ella, received much-needed support from Canteen when she needed it most. Now, I'm incredibly proud that she volunteers her time as part of their leadership programme to give back to an organisation that supported her.

Every gift to Canteen helps provide a safe space for rangatahi impacted by cancer to connect, share the tough stuff, and get a break from cancer.1 Our donations are vital as Canteen receives no direct government funding.

My goal is to raise $420 to show my support, and I would truly appreciate your help. Any donation would be appreciated – it all counts!
