St Bede's has been supporting CanTeen Aotearoa for 21 years and in that time has raised more than $700,000 for rangatahi/young people impacted by cancer!

Many of our Bedean Community, past and present have been or are being supported by CanTeen and most of us know someone affected by cancer.

Shave for a Cure

Friday 9th Sep

Eight Kiwis – adults and children – are diagnosed each day with a blood cancer. There's a good chance that they may lose their hair through chemotherapy because it can harm their hair follicles. This can be a difficult, scary, and isolating experience.

But they don't have to go through it alone. I have decided to shave my hair today to show my support for Kiwis living with cancer.

Every shave matters. I hope the money I raise can change a life by helping to fund the search for a cure and provide support for patients and their families.
