I'm fundraising to support rangatahi impacted by cancer. ❤️

Each year, 4,200 rangatahi are impacted by cancer in Aotearoa. Thats why I'm fundraising for Canteen Aotearoa - the only national charity dedicated to supporting rangatahi aged 12-24 impacted by cancer, whether through their own diagnosis, cancer in their whānau, or grief and loss.

Canteen provides free, evidence-based psychosocial support services that focus on the long-term emotional and social wellbeing of rangatahi. These services include counselling, peer events, therapeutic programmes, camps, leadership skills, development grants, and career guidance. 

I am fundraising for this cause close to my heart, and I would be grateful for any donations you can make. Big or small, every dollar makes a big difference.

I’m fundraising for my beautiful community in Canteen!

Since being apart of CanTeen Aotearoa, I have received so much love and support from the community and staff of this charity. Joining CanTeen meant that I was able to connect with people who have gone through something similar to me, as well as being able to connect and gain support from these like-minded people. Every year there are 4,200 rāngatahi in Aotearoa who are impacted by cancer, and CanTeen ensures that these young people have a place where they can find one-on-one support, group support and other resources/services. Personally, I receive one-on-one support, attend events within my region, and am apart of the CanTeen Leadership Programme. CanTeen has brought me to some of my lifelong friends, and has created a large village for me to rely upon, and share my experiences and aroha to others.
