I'm fundraising to support rangatahi impacted by cancer. ❤️

 

Each year, 4,200 rangatahi are impacted by cancer in Aotearoa. Thats why I'm fundraising for Canteen Aotearoa - the only national charity dedicated to supporting rangatahi aged 12-24 impacted by cancer, whether through their own diagnosis, cancer in their whānau, or grief and loss.

Canteen provides free, evidence-based psychosocial support services that focus on the long-term emotional and social wellbeing of rangatahi. These services include counselling, peer events, therapeutic programmes, camps, leadership skills, development grants, and career guidance. 

I am fundraising for this cause close to my heart, and I would be grateful for any donations you can make. Big or small, every dollar makes a big difference.

2024 January and February Swims

Friday 11th Aug
Sebastian Yates is passionate swimmer from Otaki Titans who at just 11 years old is training to swim the 5km in Akaroa to raise money for Canteen. Sebastian will be building up to the swim starting with the 1000m Epic Swim in Taupo, followed by the 1200m in Wellington and then the grand finale 5km in Akaroa! Sebastian will only be old enough to take part in the 5km swim by 1 month. If you want to get behind Sebastian you can visit his page here
